Hello, my name is Morgan and I'm reaching out for help so my mom and I can find a place to live.

We currently are renting a duplex in Rittman for $700 a month, but the duplex was just sold without us even knowing that it was for sale. We received a text from the new landlord asking to set up a time to meet to sign a new lease and talk about the rent change.

We had that meeting last night. The new landlord wants $1,000 a month with absolutely nothing less. We offered to pay $850 a month. He pretty much laughed in our faces and told us he had a business to run.

We have 60 days to find a new place that will work for us and our two animals and be able to afford it. My mom is a senior on a fixed income. I'm currently on workers' comp due to falling and breaking my ankle in January at work. So we are both on a fixed income with no way to make any more money, and he refuses to work with us.

So I'm asking you all for some help. I can get my dog ESA certified for my bipolar disorder so there isn't a pet fee or deposit for her, but we still need to come up with enough money for deposits and the first month's rent. We're struggling and honestly don't have anywhere or anyone to turn to but each other. Any amount would help us tremendously.
