Urgent Help for Mom's Final Days

Some may know my story. The weekend of Memorial Day, I sent Ontario PD to my mom’s house for a wellness check where they found her unconscious for about a week due to a stroke. Since then she has been a resident of San Antonio Community Hospital, Bayshire Assisted Living Facility, Kaiser Baldwin Park, Baldwin Park Convergent Home, Queen of the Valley Hospital, back to her home in Ontario, and now back to Bayshire. At some point the goal was for her to get better but she has zero mobility on the left side of her body. She suffers from heart disease and kidney disease as well. Due to her kidney being in the shape that it’s in, the doctor recommended dialysis but whenever she would undergo that treatment, she would go into another stroke (this is why she has been at so many different facilities because she had to keep being rushed to the ER). While I was in California for three weeks, I had to make the decision to keep going with the dialysis and let her continue the strokes or to take her off and send her home for hospice and keep her comfortable. I know quality of life is most important for my mom so I chose the latter. This was a hard decision that I had to make on my own but a decision had to be made due to the lack of support I was receiving. After I got my mom settled into a hospice facility, I was able to come back to Hawaii so that I will be able to work. She then was transferred home, where my aunt was caring for her 24/7 and the doctor would come and visit. I received updates on my mom: her kidney has failed in totality, her liver is failed, and her speech is gone. The doctor recommended moving her to one last facility so that she would have professional care 24/7 but the insurance only covers 5 days. Today, is the 5th and I am out of resources… I cannot reach my sister, my aunt is exhausted, and for her to stay in the facility is $350 a night. She’s not really here with us but I do believe she’s holding on for her birthday, I know that might sound crazy but I do believe and I just need help to keep her there until then.

I’m costing out $350 per day that she remains in the facility; I am unknown when she will transition but it will be sometime between now and the next few days. I set the goal at $3500 because she’s a tough cookie and her birthday is in 8 days.
