Help Needed for Nursing Care and Backlogged Bills for My Mom

Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out today in the hopes of getting some support for my mom, who is in need of around-the-clock care. Two years ago, she suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed on her left side, and since then, she’s needed assistance with nearly every aspect of her daily life.

For a while, Medicaid provided nursing care at home, but for reasons that are still unclear, they stopped sending the nurses. I’ve been doing everything I can to figure out what happened, but in the meantime, my mom’s care needs have only grown. I’m doing my best to balance work,home and school, but it’s been overwhelming to keep up with everything.

Currently, we’re also facing backlogged bills and supplies, and I’m afraid. I’m asking for help to pay off the overdue bills, as well as to cover the cost of hiring in-home nurses to ensure my mom gets the care she desperately needs.
