This is incredibly hard for me to post, but I desperately need help with getting my cat to the vet. Last October, I brought her to the vet and the vet noticed that she had started barbering. I had not changed much in her routine, but tried helping by giving her more stimulation as I worked longer hours at the time, and I had assumed she was bored and lonely. Over the last few months, the issue has progressed from mild to severe. I have been trying to save money to get her vet care, but between paying for rent, bills, and groceries, it has proven to be something I cannot do on my own. As a temporary solution, I have purchased a cone to put around her neck because without it, she will lick and pull her hair out with her teeth. I suspect some of the issue is skin itch as she is constantly scratching, but I'm extra concerned now because she has not eaten since Monday.

I called the vet and I was told a visit alone would cost $120, but they would not be able to tell me more cost-wise as they have not seen Mink in almost a year and are not sure what would need to be done. They also do not take a payment plan. I'm terrified to lose her early and the idea that she is suffering and I can't do anything about it kills me.

It would mean the world to me if we were able to meet this goal to help my baby get the care she deserves.
