My name is Mikayla and I hate that I even have to do this, but I'm literally desperate. Mine and my fiancé's car just went down and we need to either replace the engine or just get a new car in general and we cannot afford to do either.

We are currently taking care of 6 kids, 3 which are ours, 1 niece he legally adopted, and 2 nieces we are currently fostering. He is unable to work and has been out of work since November due to needing cataract eye surgery that he can't get done until the end of June. I am the only one working right now, which was fine until our car went down. But right now, I am taking Ubers to work, which can cost anywhere from $70-100 a day depending on the day, weather, etc., making it almost pointless to even go to work, and it's just something we simply cannot afford. We just need a little help getting back on the road. Anything will help.
