My name is Mia Delarosa and all my life my mother has been an alcoholic. Now she has switched to substance abuse. We have always tried to stand by her but as of late last night me and my brother decided to try and get her some help. Sadly we do live with her and her extremely toxic, abusive and substance encouraging boyfriend. Both of them have become extremely violent and hostile towards us. As of this early morning, at 5 am, she decided she didn’t want anything to do with us anymore and threw me, my younger brother, my cat, and the dog out of the house. Completely us out with nothing but the clothes on our bodies and 10 dollars in my brother’s wallet. I’m not asking for a lot, but even the smallest dollar can help me put food on my brother’s plate. Currently we are in a hotel with whatever money I can pull out of my college funds before my mother drained my account which was barely enough to cover the hotel room.
