hi everyone! my name is grace, and my kitty is meeko. i adopted meeko as a kitten earlier this year as an emotional support animal to help me cope with mental health challenges. he 1 year old and he is my bestie and the light of my life. not kidding.

earlier today, meeko’s gums started to turn pale and he couldn’t stop throwing up. he wasn’t able to keep down food or water, so i had to take him to an emergency vet. the vet found a blockage in his intestine and had to get multiple x-rays and give him lots of fluids! right now, they have him overnight to hopefully make sure the blockage passes. if not, he might need surgery tomorrow.

as a recent college graduate on a starting salary, i am struggling to afford the emergency vet bill along with my rent. anything you could contribute would mean the world to me. i under no circumstance expect this bill to be payed off by others, however truly anything helps.
