My name is Sharon Russell. I am 60 years old , I was born and raised in Jamaica .. I migrate to America when I was 16 years old and lived with my mother in Chicago Illinois, then I moved to New York and lived there for many years , until I moved to Arizona to raise my three children . I was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2015. I worked as a caregiver taking care of the elderly . I am also raising two grandkids which I have from babies now one is 17 years old and the other 16 years old. I stopped working on June 12 due to health issues which include a recent surgery for a peritoneal catheter used for severe chronic kidney disease. This has caused me to fall behind in rent and other expenses related to my care and of my grandkids. I was working two jobs avoiding medical treatment because I did not want to fall behind on the rent. However when my health deteriorated I was forced to enter hospice and leave my jobs.

We have received a 5-day eviction notice and are looking for immediate financial support. I need a stable home to focus on my health and to do dialysis treatment from home every night. My kidneys function is at 9 % and I really need to do dialysis .The funds will be used to pay for back rent that I owe , and future rent until I’m able to get back to work . And also pay some medical bills. Food, Utilities, and stuff for every day needs.
