On May 29th, Mark and Cole Haury were involved in a devastating head-on collision while traveling in the Philippines. The accident left them with serious injuries requiring urgent medical attention, hospitalization, and ongoing care. Being far from home has made this already traumatic experience even more overwhelming.

Mark is a U.S. Navy veteran and the care he is receiving is slim to none due to it being a third world country. We were told this morning that they won’t even take his case because there isn’t a doctor qualified to. He is laying there suffering and time is of the essence. Some of his injuries include a shattered pelvis, cracked skull, brain swelling, temporal lobe damage, and many others.

In addition to the mounting medical bills, we are now facing the challenge of arranging emergency travel back to the United States for further treatment and recovery. The costs for medical care, transportation, and specialized assistance have quickly become more than we can manage alone.
