Hello! My name is Lynette George. I am a single mother that is fighting to live and survive. I have been in remission from cancer for 6 years. I am now battling damage done to my lungs and heart from the after-effects of radiation and chemotherapy. I am also fighting to stop being evicted from the home that I rent for my children and me. I was served this week after getting home from getting a new job. I took the rebuttal to the courthouse. I am now waiting on a decision. We are praying for mercy, grace, & favor in these situations. I have to start cardiac rehabilitation ASAP!!! PLEASE HELP US!!! $5800 will be paid to stop the eviction notice. $1500 will be paid on all utilities. The remainder will go to my cardiac rehabilitation.
During the month of September, a child was sent to school sick. The child stated that he knew that he was not supposed to be sent to school because his parents took him to the emergency room and the doctors told them to keep him home away from others. They didn’t listen.
By that night, I started getting very sick. I have been sick ever since. I went to the emergency room 3 times from September through October. On October 20th, I was transported by ambulance to the hospital with myocarditis, congestive heart failure, double pneumonia, and fluid on my lungs. The doctors have told me that I came into contact with “someone” that was very sick and the virus that was given to me started all of these complications. I am now wearing a defibrillator until I complete cardiac rehabilitation. Unfortunately, my insurance does not want to cover the rehabilitation.
As anyone can imagine, my finances have been greatly affected by illness, medication, loss of employment, loss of income, etc. I have a new job that I started on Tuesday. I was served with an eviction notice on Tuesday night. I am not in a position to move, find somewhere else to live, and can’t be under any stress. My children and I need help to get over this hurdle in our life. I am doing the best that I can given the circumstances. I am humbly asking for help to stop the eviction, catch up on rent, and start my cardiac rehabilitation so that I can close this chapter. Thank you for taking the time to read about my circumstances.
