Help Little Ben Singleton Recover After Tragic Accident in Kenya

Hi everyone,

I’m writing on behalf of our dear friends Ben Singleton and Kim, who are currently facing the unimaginable. Their son, Little Ben, was recently in a devastating car accident while in Kenya. Tragically, Little Ben’s mother—Ben’s ex-wife—did not survive the crash, and the driver also passed away.

Little Ben was seriously injured and is now fighting to recover in Bloom Hospital in Nakuru, Kenya. He underwent emergency surgery and, by God’s grace, he made it through. He remains under sedation and close observation. As of now, he has not been told of his mother’s passing.

Injuries include:
• Fractured left femur
• Fractured jaw (mandible)
• Deep lacerations from scalp to jaw and lips
• Collapsed lungs (now being managed)
• Internal bleeding, which required surgery but has since been controlled
• He remains intubated and is under evaluation by an oral surgeon

We are incredibly thankful to report that there are no signs of brain damage.

Ben spoke with the doctors and nurses, and they’ve advised not to travel yet. The plan is to potentially go later this week or next—once Little Ben is stable enough to fly. The situation remains critical, and timing is everything.

As a friend, I’ve watched Ben and Kim walk through many trials with incredible faith and strength—but this is beyond what any family should face alone. They are Little Ben’s primary support, and right now they’re doing everything they can to prepare to either fly to Kenya or bring their son home for continued care.

We are asking for your help to raise $20,000 to cover:
• Emergency hospital and surgical costs
• Ongoing medical treatment and evaluations
• Travel and lodging for Ben and Kim
• Legal and transportation arrangements to bring Little Ben safely back to the U.S.

If you know Ben and Kim, you know their hearts and their deep love for their son. They are trusting God every step of the way and praying for Little Ben’s full healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Please, if you’re able, donate. If you can’t give financially, please share this page and keep the family in your prayers. Every single act of support matters right now.

We will continue to share updates as we receive them.

With hope and gratitude,
Lenora and Friends of Ben & Kim
