Hello my name is Adriana. It’s incredibly hard for me to write this, but I’m doing so from a place of deep love and urgency.

Lia is not just a dog — she’s my best friend and my companion of 13 years. She has been by my side through the hardest and most beautiful moments of my life, always loyal and full of love. Today, she needs me more than ever… and I’m doing everything I can to help her.

A few days ago, Lia started breathing very fast and struggling to breathe. After a veterinary visit and X-rays, we were told she has fluid in her lungs caused by heart disease. She is now on emergency medication to remove the fluid and support her heart, which can help her breathe better and improve her quality of life.

Due to the severity of her condition, Lia now needs to be hospitalized at a specialty veterinary hospital (NEEL Veterinary). She has fluid in her lungs caused by heart disease, and her breathing became too labored to manage safely at home.

Unfortunately, hospitalization and specialty care come with significantly higher costs, and I am struggling to keep up with these expenses on my own. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward her hospital care, medications, and monitoring during this critical time.
