Hi friends and family Thank you so much to everyone who has been thinking about us, donated, shared and reached out We are happy to announce Leelu is back at home and has a diagnosis Baby girl has Addisons Disease and had her first episode It’s genetic and a brief description of it is that it is an endocrine disorder in dogs and humans where the adrenal glands fail to produce sufficient amounts of the hormones cortisol and aldosterone Going forward she has a road to recovery and will have a lifetime of hormone replacement therapy and prednisone We cannot be more happy with the fact that she will get to live a long happy life with us at home full of lots of extra treats and snuggles We still have a ways to go with recovery and covering the vet trips this past week Anything to have our girl back at home with us Thank you to everyone again
