Urgent Help for Layna's Medical Expenses

Hey my name is Tony Silvagni and my girlfriend Layna Moehl was in a bad surfing accident yesterday. She was ran over by another surfer in a crowded line up at the break sultans here in the Maldives. The surfer cut off another surfer who was riding behind him and he eventually ran over my girlfriends leg. It has been a very traumatic experience as we had to tie off a leash to use a tourniquet to save her from potentially bleeding out. There was proper protocol from another friend in our boat Eli, Amber and Joaquin who assisted in the life savings of keeping Layna calm. We had to take a boat from the break to the island of Himmafushi to get an ambulance and we were told to take a speed boat from the Himmafushi to Male as the trauma to the leg would only be assisted by adk hospital. We took a speed boat to male, then we hired a truck with layna on a back board to get to the emergency room.

She underwent surgery last night at 6 pm and has been in a lot of pain. We are sleeping in the hospital for multiple days as we have to be cautious of any infection.

Unfortunately, Layna’s insurance doesn’t cover her expenses over here in the Maldives. I would love to help get her home by changing her flight, putting her in business class so she elevate her leg, hospital stay costs, surgery costs, physical therapy, food, etc. She is so grateful for any support during these challenging times that she is experiencing.
