I’m humbly reaching out to my wonderful community with my heart breaking to pieces. I recently and very suddenly lost my amazing husband. I'm trying to navigate the financial hurdles that have come up. If you have the means to help, even the smallest contribution would mean the world to me. I know it is cliche, but he truly was and always will be the love of my life. We were together for just a few months short of 30 years. I was so blessed to have him in my life. I lost him early Wednesday morning to what we believe was a stroke. The funeral home is telling me that unless I can come up with $2250, I cannot have his ashes. There is just over $6.50 in his checking account, and his VA benefits and social security will not come this month. I have no idea what my future financial situation will look like, but I don’t see any way of doing this alone. I’m humbly asking for any help I can get to reach this goal of $2250. I hate to ask because I know times are tough, but if you can help with the cash that is so very appreciated but a share counts too. Please, even $1 at a time adds up. I would be just as happy with your prayers to get through this.

Some are asking about what the VA is doing for his burial. After I get the ashes and take them to them they will provide a headstone and plot.
