Urgent Help for Kohaku's surgery and recovery

Please Help Kohaku!

Kohaku has been hospitalized and finally found what’s causing his problems ! He has herniated disc Needs surgery.

It all started a few weeks ago. I took him to the vet, thought it was a UTI, and he has been taking antibiotics.

He was better for a few days, then relapsed.

Last week,he was hospitalized all week and weekend because he’s lethargic, dehydrated, and has a fever. Now, this is new—he has trouble walking…

His doctors have been running all kinds of tests but couldn’t figure out why he’s not getting better and in so much pain!

so I decided take him to university hospital.

They did MRI on him and finally found out his diagnosis!

They are not sure what’s the relationship between UTI and this but assuming he had trouble urinating because of the herniated disc on his spinal cord.

Unfortunately, UTI symptoms came first so we couldn’t figure out what’s really bothering him first.

At this point, I’ve already spend approximately $5500 before diagnosis.

he still needs surgery and recover from surgery. Please help us if you can. Thank you so much for reading our story.

Kohaku’s surgery was successful and he’s recovering very well. He’s currently strict crate rest !
