Hi. My name is Katelyn. Almost two years ago, my children's father passed away suddenly while I was pregnant with our third. We have done our best to make it by, but now we are being hit with several emergencies.

Rats made my car their home, and I have an exterminator working to rid them. We went three days without heat and hot water earlier this week and just got it back.

Now my septic is broken and backing into the house. It also caused a pipe to break into my room with sewage water.

While we wait for a diagnosis, plus the work, plus the homeowners' insurance to go into effect, I am asking for help to get through financially and to deal with the deductible.

The heat and hot water is already draining us of savings, savings that I worked hard to put aside for the flood insurance FEMA forced us to get that year.

I never ask for help; anyone who knows me knows that. But I'm doing this alone and scared of how to do it all with three young children.
