On March 2, Katarina’s life changed in an instant.
While moving into a safer, more affordable apartment between work shifts, Katarina suffered a serious injury—fracturing her thoracic vertebrae and tearing muscles along her spine.
For years, she has worked hard as a waitress and server—but now, she is unable to work at all.
She is currently on strong pain medications and muscle relaxers while doctors evaluate whether surgery will be needed. Every day is filled with pain, uncertainty, and waiting.
As if that wasn’t enough…
On April 6, their only vehicle was stolen.
Her husband had taken their truck to a gig job, and when he came out—it was gone. A police report is in progress, but for now, they are left without transportation, forcing him to spend money they don’t have just to get home.
Their Current Reality
Rent: $1,075/month
Groceries: $595/month
Medical bills: $2,245 (and rising)
Income: Extremely limited part-time work
No insurance
No transportation
Waiting weeks for disability paperwork approval
They have no savings, no assets left to sell, and no safety net.
Holding On to Hope
Despite everything, Katarina is trying to rebuild.
She is working on starting a small home-based business—something she can do without physical strain—but it will take at least 3 months before it brings in any income.
Right now, they just need help getting through this moment.
How You Can Help
We are raising funds to help cover:
Basic living expenses (rent & groceries)
Urgent medical bills
A reliable, small used car so her husband can work and they can get to appointments
Every dollar truly matters right now.
If you’re not able to give, please consider sharing this with others.
Sometimes the right person seeing this can change everything.
❤️ Final Note
Katarina has always worked hard and never expected to be in this position.
This has been a series of unexpected, overwhelming events—and right now, she just needs a hand to get back on her feet.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
