Hello good people and Happy Holidays. Im creating this GoFundMe because I am currently homeless. While I set this up to confirm my identity to all who receive my messages (the vetting process is legit and thorough) I really HIGHLY ENCOURAGE SENDING ANY DONATIONS MORE QUICKLY, ESPECIALLY OVER A WEEKEND at the end of a month VIA THE OTHER PLATFORMS I LISTED HERE IN THE GOFUNDME SUCH AS PAYPAL, ZELLE, ETC. For example, right now I am scrambling to find a pace to stay Monday night. I would need to pay for a hotel most likely ASAP and gofundme funds take at least a few business days. I am currently homeless, have been for some months now. I AM WORKING. Little known fact in America, many homeless people have full time jobs or are working and seeking better employment. Crazy, right?

I am one of those Americans. I work most often as a stagehand, sound engineer, or drummer, have been a teacher of ESL and GED w my own curriculum developed via CUNY years ago (didn't pay off, sadly, but the students did well). Have tuned pipe organs in churches and cathedrals in NY and NJ. Have toured the world playing drums and percussion.

Am Homeless.

I am in the position of being constantly searching for housing while working and searching for more work without a secure, safe, hygienic space to sleep and store my clothes and tools (some of them musical instruments like drumsticks because IM STILL PLAYING DRUMS). I need a BOOST. Im constantly hitting the ground running and I simply need a buffer, bit of security to gain shelter that is not a shelter, that is safe, healthy and warm. Winter is Here.

Background: for the past year or so I was living w my family and helping out during serious illness. Cooking meals, cleaning, helping out, etc. I was also working but during that time I broke my hand and had great difficulty getting any insurance or funding, initially, for the injury and everything that followed. I couldn't work for months. Thankfully many people helped out.

Now, I have been working but had to leave that housing situation because of the landlord: Staten Island Republican MAGA Trump super racist boomer. He claimed that he never wanted 3 people in a 2 bedroom apt and threatened to EVICT my elderly parents. Truth is he didn't like me, for obvious reasons. So, obviously I left. But without much notice.

So I have since been struggling to stay above water working and searching for better work while simultaneously constantly searching for shelter. Homeless shelters are not an option for me but are the end of the line. My family tries as much as they can to help but have no money and no space. Please Help. Its a lonely and isolating experience I wish on no one. This is America. I know.
