Urgent Help for Josh's Family After Collapse

Dear friends, family, and dear strangers

My family and I are reaching out today with heavy hearts as we are facing huge unexpected loss from recent heavy snowfall that started on Feb 17th in Hastings New York. The snow amounted to more than 116 inches in only 6 days. In our area more than 40 homes have collapsed and sadly we are included in this count. At this point our garage has collapsed and the roof that we just completed in May 2024 is caving in and causing damage to the home we were renovating to live in.

Sadly we did not have insurance because of remodelling technicalities but the repairs are far beyond our means to tackle. We have lost cars, other belongings, thousands of dollars in material, and a lot of hard work.

My family and I have always tried to do right by others and now sadly we must turn to others for help. With one structure collapsing a roof caving in we are struggling to make more progress on our home. We appreciate any and all help and sincerely thank you for any donation you may make.

The money from this go fund me campaign will be allocated between

- new roofing materials

-water damages

- more wood

- and tools to remove debris and broken or totalled items that were in the garage.
