Urgent Help for Joe and His Mother

Hi, my name is Joe. I'm 34 years old and currently homeless, living in an extended stay hotel. I live with my mother, and after a series of severe health issues with her that drained our finances, we were unfortunately evicted. I am disabled with a heart condition (among other things) and currently applying for disability assistance.

We are apartment/house hunting at the moment, but staying in the hotel has drained all of my savings. Our house hunting has been momentarily hindered by both unexpected illness on my end and court dates with our past landlord.

Making daily rent here has been a challenge, borrowing from family and friends when we can, but that has its limits. We have nowhere else to go but our car. My mother has mobility issues and the thought of her living in a car breaks my heart.

Any money given will be put towards temporary housing (the hotel room), food, and gas.
