Hi!! My name is Jessica. I am a disabled single momma to 2 amazing girls!!! I, at this point in time am out of other options . This is extremely humbling and embarrassing all at once. I have always been able to provide for my family. With a significant decrease in funds coming in, a large car repair bill, and getting drug into massive credit card debt. I am lost!! I am currently 2 months behind on my mortgage. I have nowhere to turn. I have called everyone, visited all the churches and pantries. I am currently trying to sell stuff on FB. I also bake with my girls and that money goes into their extracurriculars. I have tried every place that could maybe possibly help and there are no funds. I even just reapplied for food stamps and was denied. I honestly truly need help. At month 3 they start the foreclosure process. I CANNOT lose our home!! 2 years ago we lost our former home in a fire!!!! We cannot go thru the trauma again. I suffer from depression, anxiety and bipolar. Some days all I can do is cry. But then I know I gotta pull it together for my girls!!! They are my EVERYTHING . The car debt has been paid. I have an appointment next week to discuss debt consolidation on the credit cards. This all kinda started when I missed a credit card payment but they both had my checking account information. As soon as my disability hit the account, they took it all. That leaves me with only child support. Unfortunately their dad hasn't been working for a few months, so I haven't been getting that either. So, basically I have 2 credit cards that are still charging me past due since what they took wasn't enough, 2 missed mortgage payments, and I haven't been able to pay my electric bill or gas bill either.
