My name is Jeremy Burroughs. I've been married to the love of my life for almost 20 years. We have 4 beautiful children, a dog, and 2 cats. Over the past 3 years, I've had to take medical leave for 13 months the first time and 4 months the last time. My problems started when I had a severe case of cellulitis in my lower left leg. Then, when that went away, my leg swelled up to almost twice its normal size. After a ton of tests and procedures, I am doing a lot better than I was.

Needless to say, we are very behind on all of our bills. I am currently back to work full-time, but my employer is back-charging my insurance premiums, so my checks have been hardly anything.

As a result, we have gotten behind a couple of months on our rent. We went to court last Friday, and we were given 10 days to pay what we owe or we have to leave.

My wife and I work very hard, but after being off for COVID and now my medical issues, we have been living paycheck to paycheck for a while now.

I love my family very much, and it has been a very humbling experience not being able to provide.
