My name is Jeremy Moore. My 15-year-old daughter, Jalisa Moore, has seizures. They began 2 years ago out of nowhere. At the time, I had health insurance and was able to get her referred to a neurologist. But I was forced to switch jobs before the doctors could find a reason and a solution for the seizures. My new job offers health insurance, but I make less money now and can't afford it. I can't get assistance from the state because they say I make too much. I'm currently in a financial pickle which is preventing me from providing the care that my daughter so desperately needs. The money is needed for continued Dr visits, medication and further testing.
