Help Jeff, a Disabled Veteran, Fix His Car
Donation protected
My good friend, Jeffrey H. Adler, is a semi-retired, more-than-50%-disabled (veteran living in a tiny Nebraska town, 90 miles from his medical providers. He is in his seventies and has no income other than social security. He was able to work and make the drive to medical appointments while he had a working vehicle.
Recently, the water pump on his car failed and it overheated. He received some assistance from the VA to put in a new water pump, but the repair shop took advantage and made other repairs without Jeff's permission. Now the shop won't release the car until Jeff pays an additional $175.
In addition, the car is also going to need a head gasket and repair of two cylinders, for a total of $2,500. Jeff barely has enough money to buy groceries. If he can get his car in fixed, he can find a job so that he meet all of his obligations and travel to his medical appointments.
Anything you feel moved to contribute during this time of giving would do so much good for this veteran and would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share this post, also.
