Urgent Help for Jeffrey's Medical and Housing Crisis

Hi my name is Jeffrey Riley and I am in a serious situation. I am in a nursing facility due to a serious injury to my left quad tendon. On October 14, 2024 I was injured at work making a left turn to go up a ladder. I was taken to two different hospitals regarding the injury. At the first hospital I was only given an x-ray and sent home. I told them that I tore my quad tendon in my knee and needed a MRI but the hospital refused and said that the x-ray showed just a sprain in my knee and sent me home. When I got home, I fell after getting out of the Uber car that the hospital got for me. I was then taken to the second hospital where I was given an X-ray, MRI and CAT scan. I was told that I did tear my quad tendon and needed surgery right away. I was admitted and had surgery on October 16th. I stayed in the hospital until the following Friday October 25th when I was transferred to the nursing facility where I am today. I do also have a surgically repaired right knee from a work injury from 2019. I have been on workers comp during this injury as well. On December 5th I was informed that the workers comp no longer will be covering my stay and care here in the nursing facility and I would be discharged and sent home December 12th. I was fine with that but on December 11th I was informed by two of my now former roommates that there is no home to go to because our roommate landlord sold the apartment and is now on his way to Minnesota where his daughter lives. I checked everything to verify if that was true and my source told me that the apartment is empty. So in turn I am now homeless. Workers comp gave me a one day extension until today December 13th but we were in talks all day and I was given a one week extension here in the nursing facility. After the one week, the facility will start billing me for the stay, the medical care, and the physical therapy which would be very expensive. I have no job due to the injury, no money, and no home to go to. Basically in a weeks time, I will be homeless. I have nowhere to go and can't afford anything by myself here in California. But they are hoping I could find some place to go within a week. There's not much I can do with two surgically repaired knees once my left knee heals. So this is my situation and I need help or I will be homeless in a week. Please help, anything will be greatly appreciated. I can only get around using a walker and can barely stand on my own.
