I'm helping George raise money for his darling Jazzy girl. Not out of character, Jazzy ate something and she's very, very sick. After contacting a vet from Chewy.com, the general consensus is that she has an intestinal blockage and she will likely need emergency surgery to recover. If you know George, you know he recently broke his leg and has been out of work for the last 3 months and, therefore, is struggling to come up with the funding if the surgery is required.

UPDATE: jazzy is okay!! She was scheduled for surgery this morning but went in and took X-rays and found out that the object had reached her colon (passed thru her intestines) and so she would likely be able to pass it on her own. After getting her some fluids and probiotics, we were allowed to bring her home. Before we got a chance to leave the vet, jazzy took a brief walk and right there in the parking lot, she pooped out a pink sock. oh jazzy!! She’s back home now, resting and fasting for follow-up X-rays to be sure there’s nothing else in there but we are hopeful that she will make a full recovery in the next couple of days.
