Hey folks, I'm Jay and I'm hoping I can get some help covering my rent this month.

I lost my job at the start of October, and the rent is coming due in a few weeks. I've been working manual labor, very physical jobs for most of my life, but now that I'm getting over 50 it's getting harder to keep up with that kind of work. So I've started a training program to do tax preparation, with the hope I can transition into more office work.

While that is good for the future, my immediate needs are far from certain. If I can just get through this month I can hopefully make things turn my way.
