Urgent Help for Jacqueline's Medical Journey

We are reaching out to you with urgency regarding a serious matter concerning Jacqueline Garcia, a vibrant 22-year-old who is currently hospitalized. Jacqueline has been living with Type 1 diabetes since childhood, which has unfortunately progressed to gastroparesis. Despite recently graduating from university as an accountant and starting her career, her condition has severely impacted her daily life.

For the past three months, Jacqueline has endured significant pain and has been unable to eat, leading to malnourishment. After consulting with multiple doctors, we have discovered that her current insurance does not cover the specialized care she urgently needs. As a result, we are exploring alternative options, including a private doctor overseas who can provide the necessary treatment.

Jacqueline requires bypass surgery, which is estimated to cost around $7,000. Unfortunately, waiting for an appointment with her gastroenterologist—scheduled for a month from now—is not an option, as she cannot afford to wait any longer due to the critical state of her health. The plan is for her to receive a feeding tube and be discharged from the hospital, but we must act quickly to ensure she gets the nutrition she needs before any surgical intervention can take place.

The cost of her hospital stay, along with the necessary medications, is approximately $2,000 per day, and her recovery could take anywhere from one to four weeks before she is cleared for surgery. In total, we estimate that we will need at least $30,000 to cover her medical expenses.
