Hi everyone.

Unfortunately I am in a very scary situation. I rarely talk about my problems, as I don’t want to burden anyone. I am in a very risky living situation. It is a very long and sad story. I dealt with a very toxic landlord 7 months ago and she along with her daughter tarnished my reputation in the community.

I am living somewhere with no plumbing and the utilities are slowly being shut off because the person I know from synagogue is giving the house to the state and I'm unsure of when I have to leave. My finances got tighter and I applied to countless jobs both online and in-person and was rejected any position. I'm still living in my current place, but I know I will be losing it soon. I've looked into various government resources to help me in my position, but have faced shut doors in assistance and job positions. It’s been really challenging because I don’t have the outside support from my family and I feel really overwhelmed and alone through this.

Any money I’ve earned the past few months was dedicated towards my sole survival: Feeding myself, paying for my general expenses, and school. It unfortunately, didn’t give me the chance to really save up for a new place. I worked countless hours having a gig job and experienced medical issues; going in and out of doctors offices and being hospitalized twice.

Anything you can donate will make a huge difference and help me have enough to money to put down for a studio or help with moving costs.

The past year and a half has been really rough and scary. I am embarrassed to ask for help, but this can happen to anyone. I never thought it would happen to me.
