Hello, my name is Yasmin Hussain. I live in England. I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Hamad Hashem and his family from Gaza whom I have been in contact with since last year. Hamad has endured over 2 years of this horrific genocide and it has taken a toll on his physical and mental health. I am deeply enraged and devastated by the impact the genocide has had on Hamad's family so I have started this fundraiser to help him.

Unfortunately, Hamad and other Gazans have unreliable internet access and no access to banking services that support gofundme. Therefore, I am acting as an intermediary for them to receive the funds safely. All donations will be received into my UK bank account through gofundme. I will then transfer the funds to Hamad's mother (Rasha) via international money transfer. All funds (minus gofundme processing fees) will go to the beneficiary. Hello, my name is Ahmed Hasanat. I’m 19 years old and live in Gaza with my three younger brothers and our mother, Rasha. My brothers are Hamad (18), Mohammed (17), and Karim (11).

Our father left and went abroad just before the war began, leaving our mother to care for us alone.

We live in the north of Gaza, one of the areas hit hardest by this brutal war. We’ve been living under constant bombing, severe food and water shortages, and no access to safe shelter or electricity. Our home has been damaged, and every day is a struggle to survive.

Everyday is a major struggle for us and it continues to get worse especially with the famine, we urgently need support. Your help means food, water, and dignity for my family.
