My name is Emily, and I am reaching out from California, USA with a desperate plea for my close friend, Hadeel, her husband Mahmoud, and their three beautiful young children in Khan Younis, Palestine.

While we go about our daily lives, they are literally fighting for theirs. Their family has been devastated by the ongoing genocide and they are now facing a slow and painful death from starvation and untreated injuries. They are trapped with nowhere to run.

During an Israeli bombardment, Mahmoud was severely injured by an explosion. He suffered multiple, complex fractures to the left side of his face. Bone fragments are still lodged in his tissue, causing him constant severe pain and permanent nerve damage. He currently has multiple blood clots surrounding his brain which he needs immediate evacuation to treat. The explosion has also drastically reduced his hearing which is needed to navigate the constant danger around them.

He needs specialized surgery, which is impossible in Palestine. Every day he goes without treatment, the damage becomes more permanent. He is the father of three young children; he cannot provide for them or protect them in this condition.

The Israeli occupation has cut off ALL food and aid. My friend Hadeel is still breastfeeding her youngest child but she can no longer produce milk. Her body is shutting down from extreme malnutrition. She is being starved, and in turn, her youngest child is being starved.

All three of the children cry themselves to sleep nightly from hunger pains. As parents, Hadeel and Mahmoud are forced to watch their children wither away, unable to find food, clean water, or formula. They have run out of diapers. They are drinking contaminated water, risking deadly disease on top of starvation.

We are setting up this fund for two critical purposes:

1. IMMEDIATE SURVIVAL (Urgent): To buy whatever food, baby formula, clean water, and diapers are available in Palestine. This money will literally keep them alive for another day, another week.

2. HOPE FOR EVACUATION (Long-term): To save money for a potential medical evacuation for Mahmoud and his family. Evacuation costs are astronomical due to coordination, permits, and travel fees. This is their only hope for a future.

We cannot stand by and let this family become another statistic. We cannot let children starve to death. Donate whatever you can, every dollar helps. We urge you to please share this campaign as far and wide as possible. Time is running out.
