A father of 8, seriously ill and displaced, fighting to survive without access to treatment.

Hello, I am raising funds for my ill grandfather and family in the Gaza Strip. Please see his story below:

My name is Samir Abdel Fattah Quffa, and I am writing to you from the Gaza Strip during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I am currently displaced and living with my family of eight. As the main provider, I am responsible for supporting them all — but since the war began, we have lost all sources of income. Today, we struggle to secure even the most basic necessities like food, water, and medicine.

On top of this, I suffer from serious illnesses. I live with only one kidney and urgently need treatment that I cannot afford. I also suffer from high blood pressure, heart disease, and severe pain caused by problems in my neck and lower back. The cost of medical care has become overwhelming, and without help, my condition will continue to worsen.

The war has taken everything from us — our home, our stability, and our ability to live with dignity. Now, I am fighting not only for my own health, but for the survival of my entire family.

I have shared my photos and medical reports to show the reality of my condition. I ask you, from the bottom of my heart, to help me access the treatment I need and to support my family through this unimaginable hardship.
