Please help us save Grace!
Grace, my sweet 4-year-old Ragdoll cat, is fighting for her life due to severe kidney failure. She suddenly stopped eating, drinking, and using the litter box, and after rushing her to the vet, we learned that her kidneys are failing. Her creatinine and urea levels are dangerously high, and she has severe electrolyte imbalances that could stop her heart at any moment.
She is currently hospitalized and receiving emergency IV fluids, but she has not shown improvement overnight. The vet has warned us that without further treatment, she won’t make it.
The next steps include:
- Intensive hospitalization & fluids
- Dialysis (if she is eligible) to remove toxins
- Emergency medications to stabilize her potassium levels
The vet bills are already over £3200 and will continue to rise. We were not prepared for this, and I’m heartbroken knowing that financial constraints could limit her chance of survival.
