Help Provide Safety, Stability, and Care for George

Our family and a coalition of friends and volunteers are coming together to support George, who is now facing urgent challenges after the sudden loss of his wife. On top of his grief, he is struggling to cover funeral arrangements while also managing medical issues of his own.

At 60+, on top of this, he now bears the responsibility of maintaining their 100-year-old home, which has fallen into severe disrepair after years of deferred maintenance due to medical issues. The house needs critical work: frozen pipes in winter, unsafe flooring, outdated utilities, and general upkeep that he simply cannot handle alone — physically, financially, or emotionally.

Living on a fixed income, he struggles to cover even the basics: prescriptions, groceries, and monthly bills. With the added weight of grief and depression, daily survival has become overwhelming. What he needs now is stability, safety, and a little breathing room so he can focus on healing.

We are working to raise $5,000 to cover:

Urgent home safety repairs (keeping the house livable and preventing further decline)

Medical visits and prescriptions (so he doesn’t have to go without critical care)

Groceries and essentials (to relieve the stress of daily survival costs)

Emergency aid (for crises like broken appliances, frozen pipes, or overdue bills)

This campaign is about dignity, safety, and stability for someone who has just experienced an enormous loss and cannot manage this alone.
