Our Hearts with the Garcia Family - House Fire Emergency Fund

My name is Melissa and I am a mom at Odyssey Charter School in Altadena, where an unimaginable number of families have lost their homes. I am raising money for our classmate's family the Garcias: Leticia and Sergio, their 9-year old Giselle and newborn baby daughter Sinai. They have been too busy surviving since the fire to reach out for fundraising help. This family has been a part of the school for many years and they need our help now!

Last week, the Garcia family lost everything when their home in Altadena was destroyed in the Eaton fire. Sergio and Leticia escaped with their lives, along with Giselle, their bright fourth-grader, and brand new baby sister Sinai. This devastating loss has left a kind, selfless and hard working family starting completely from scratch. They need immediate help to secure their family's comfort and safety. *They had no renter's insurance and Sergio's car was destroyed in the fire as well.*

Any amount you can give will help as the Garcia family begins to try and rebuild their lives. All funds will go directly to Leti and Sergio for their immediate and long term needs that are not met by any available federal aid.
