Urgent Help for Fire Survivors in St. Louis Park

On 7/17/2026, our lives changed in an instant when the devastating apartment fire in St. Louis Park, MN, destroyed everything my friend’s family owned.

This is the same fire that many of you may have seen on the news. In just a matter of minutes, they lost their home, their car, and nearly everything they had. Thankfully, my friend and her older sister made it out alive, but they escaped with only the clothes on their backs.

The fire took everything—their clothing, furniture, important documents, personal belongings, family keepsakes, jewelry, savings, and so much more. My friend also has diabetes, and all of her medication and medical supplies were destroyed in the fire, making this an even more urgent situation.

Although they have insurance, it will take time before they receive any assistance, especially with the weekend approaching. In the meantime, they are starting over from nothing and need immediate help with essentials such as temporary housing, clothing, food, transportation, replacing medications, and other daily necessities.

If you are able to donate, no amount is too small, and every contribution will make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends would mean the world to us.

Thank you for taking the time to read their story and for keeping them in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, generosity, and support will help them begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives after this heartbreaking tragedy.
