Hello everyone, I am raising money to pay for my dog’s life-saving veterinarian care. He recently got into something - likely a small animal or something of the sort that caused a blockage in his stomach. The blockage was from the stomach through his intestines, and he nearly died from it. Thankfully, I got him to the vet just in time and they were amazing and performed life saving surgery. He stayed the whole weekend in the hospital and is currently recovering at home.

I myself am a farmer and am already living paycheck to paycheck. The surgery and hospital stay ended up costing over $8,000 - I covered what I could while I was there but had to take out two very predatory loans to be able cover the rest of his care. I have already wiped my savings for my own medical care and now for the rest of his care, so I’m not sure how I’ll pay back these loans at this point. Any help would be appreciated!!

Also - he showed no signs of the blockage until 24 hours prior to his surgery. He started throwing up early that morning, and continued for half of the day - I knew something was wrong, so I took him in that day. If I had waited, he would have died this weekend. Please please do not wait to get your sweet furry friend healthcare, if you think something is off with them.
