My name is Juan, and I am from Montería, Córdoba, Colombia. A group of friends and I, based in Canada, the United States, and around the world, are raising funds in response to an urgent call for help from our region in Colombia.

Right now, our hometown and many areas of the Córdoba region in northern Colombia are experiencing one of the worst flooding crises in years. Heavy rains have caused rivers to overflow, destroying neighborhoods, displacing entire families, and devastating homes and livelihoods.

The photos and videos shared in this campaign reflect the harsh reality many have seen through news outlets and social media: families without access to clean water, food, beds, or safe shelter.

We are raising USD $5,000 to support affected families in:
