Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and my children. I want to give a quick update so everyone knows where things stand and what the next steps are.

I have been using the funds carefully and responsibly to make sure my newborn daughter has the essentials she needs while we are living in the shelter. I was able to get her a bottle warmer and a few important items, and I have worked hard to save the remaining amount. Right now, I have a little over $400 still saved strictly for housing and baby needs.

My next goal is to secure stable housing before my upcoming court date in January. I am looking for a safe, clean apartment for me and my two children, and I am preparing to apply for places that may require a security deposit, first month’s rent, and move-in fees. Based on my situation, I still need to raise about $1,200 to cover what the shelter or agencies may not be able to help with.

This will help me:

• Cover any security deposit or application fees

• Make sure my newborn has everything she needs

• Have stability in place before court

• Continue working toward rebuilding our lives long-term
