Urgent Help for Elaine Campbell's Family in Beirut

Hello, my name is Elaine Campbell and my husband and family currently live in Beirut, Lebanon. My husband is a Lebanese national and is living in Lebanon while we wait for our immigration case so he can come live in the US.

Beirut is currently undergoing sudden and intense warfare, something we never imagined would happen. My family-in-law has had to evacuate and lost their home. In addition to the evacuation, they have a family-run pharmacy they had to shut down due to the ongoing situation and fear for safety.

I am on the phone with him at night, listening to the bombs go off at the only somewhat safe place they have to stay. It is a nightmare, and nothing anyone should ever have to experience.

They need help, alongside the other hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians that are now displaced in the country.

The only way to get them to safety is to evacuate the country, or find a permanent residence my family can reside in that is far enough away from the targeted areas. As commercial airlines continue to close flights, the situation is dire.
