Hello, my name is Edward Allen Reed. I am currently in a Health Rehabilitation Center as of 6/19/2025 following spinal fusion surgery after an MRI found my spine vertebra was compressed. Additionally, a CAT scan found a hematoma (blood) near my brain. Although, two more CT scans fortunately show the bleeding appears to be currently stable. I'm unable to walk at this time. Also, I cannot return to a 3rd floor apartment and must secure a 1st level apartment. My complex has an available 1st level place but it won't be ready until August 1st. I will likely be discharged on or near July 2nd and have a month with nowhere to go. I have no family here or any other alternative living quarters. I am retired on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for a nursing-type facility for one month until I can move into the new apartment. Insurance does not cover my situation. I may be homeless and unable to walk for a month without help! I normally would never directly ask others for assistance, but I'm in a desperate situation. If you can find it in your heart to help me, I will be eternally grateful for anything you can give.
