My name is Ebony Dobbins, and I’m a mother fighting every day to keep my three babies safe. My son is 7, my daughters are 3 and 1. They are my everything — my reason for breathing and pushing through even when life feels impossible.
Right now, we are being displaced again, after facing relentless harassment from the Minneapolis Police Department and hateful, racist attacks online. My address has been leaked, and I no longer feel safe. Every sound outside makes my heart race. I live in constant fear that something terrible could happen to me or my children.
But what breaks me most is that while trying to protect them from the outside world, I’m also fighting battles inside our home. My 3-year-old has acute respiratory disease — something that requires careful care, warmth, and stability. My 1-year-old baby girl has macrocephaly cyst and a brain tumor, and she will need surgery soon. Hearing those words from the doctors shattered me. As a mother, all I want to do is keep her safe, hold her close, and make sure she heals surrounded by love — not fear and chaos.
Instead of being able to enjoy the precious moments of watching my children grow, laugh, and learn, I’m living every day in survival mode — searching for shelter, safety, and hope.
I’m asking for help to relocate us to a safe home, cover moving expenses, medical needs, and the basic necessities to help us rebuild. I don’t want pity; I just need a chance to give my babies a fair shot at peace and stability.

(Back Story)On March 25, 2025, the Minneapolis Police Department illegally broke into my home without a warrant or probable cause. But because my dog got loose. From 12:00 am to 2:30 am, the officers illegally searched my home, attempting to open my doors and knocking and running with weapons in their hands. At approximately 1:43 am, one officer decided to climb through my 7-year-old son's window while he was asleep in his bed to unlock my door and allow the other officers to enter my home.
From 12:00 am to 2:30 am, the Minneapolis Police Department illegally searched my home and threatened me for sleeping too hard.
