Hi Everyone,
I’m coming on here to humbly ask for help. I don’t even know where to begin right now. The last 2 months have hit our family, HARD.
- Dominic fell at school. His teeth went through his bottom lip and he had stitches inside and outside his lip. On top of that, he had to remove his front tooth which is dead, and has a fractured mandible. The dental visit to remove his tooth and repair was about $3,500
- Then Sean’s dad passed away on Friday while he was on tour after a long battle with Dementia. We were sent bereavement flowers that had Lillys inside. Both of our cats Dinah and Frankie were found eating the petals of these flowers which are highly toxic to cats.
- Dinah and Frankie have been hospitalized and their bill is equalling $8,000 for care. Without this, they have a high chance of kidney failure and dying.
We have always done our best to take the hits as they come with life, but we’re reaching out asking for help on this one. We didn’t anticipate having nearly $12,000 worth of debt in the span of 2 months. I’m working full time, taking 5 classes at CSULA in the evening, and have our family to look after. Sean just left on a 5 week tour, and came home to this.
All funds will be used to lessen/eliminate the load of our medical debts. I know times are tough right now, but any help is appreciated. We love you all.
*Update*
Frankie and Dinah had really great lab work yesterday and today. Because of this we were able to work out a compromise with our Veterinarian to bring them home and monitor which has reduced our vet bill down by half. Normally, they would keep cats for 48 hours minimum but since they are stable we picked the up and brought them home.
