Hello everyone. I never thought I'd find myself in this position or EVER writing this. For those that have followed my story, some in person following my DJ career for the last 40+ years and those that have followed me on social media.

Long story short, my DJing has always paid my bills even after not working since November after 15 years. This summer has been brutal with 4 events rescheduling till 2026 due to extreme heat; that alone snatched $2400+ from my budget. I've had a few sporadic gigs that were mostly paid off way in advance. One that was unpaid because it was hours I donated to a previous fundraiser

Speaking of rfundraisers, we all know I've ALWAYS stepped up even when my pockets and time most of the time couldnt. I've never said no, except once when it was not couldn't. possible! I have a wedding Saturday that I definitely can't fulfill, leaving my pockets emptier. I know friends are planning fundraiser events next month, and I truly appreciate it, but those won't help with this month.
