Today, our family faced every pet owner's worst nightmare. Our beloved six-year-old bloodhound, Diesel, became critically ill with a severely bloated stomach.

We rushed him to the emergency veterinarian and were given a devastating diagnosis: Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV), which means his stomach had twisted. This is a fatal condition without immediate intervention. The only chance to save his life was an emergency surgery, which we authorized without hesitation.

Diesel is currently in surgery, and we are anxiously awaiting news. He is a gentle soul and a cherished member of our family, and we are praying for his recovery.

The cost of this life-saving procedure is approximately $6500. We utilized our available CareCredit to secure his treatment, but this amount is far beyond what we can manage on our own.

Our family is on a single income while my wife stays home to care for our 10-month-old son. Like many young families, we work hard to manage our monthly expenses, and this unexpected, immense financial burden is overwhelming.
