With your help we where able to save our storage unit from auction thank you doesn't begin to touch the depths of our appreciation. Unfortunately we are still struggling to keep our hotel room and the car insurance and registration. My whole last paycheck went to hotel Rent and it's due again but we will be inside for Thanksgiving. I'm trying to come up w the funds for the insurance by Wednesday or my policy will cancel. They said I would have 30 days to reinstate. This situation has me in such a low mental space, failure comes to mind often. I continue to do my best to keep things comfortable and safe for Michael as that is the top priority hopefully the trust funds will be distributed soon I dont know how much more I can take. the funds received to date went to pay for storage to avoid auction and room rent. Any others will be to assist w car insurance and registration and room rent as well.

Hi, my name is Diana and I am 55 and a single mother with a 35-year-old special needs son. It is us and our little dog, “Sister,” who actually belonged to my parents, but we took her in after my father passed in 2018. We moved in to take care of my mother soon after, and she passed in 2022. We were doing great until my income took a huge hit and the mortgage got behind. I was able to get a modification with the lender for an affordable payment, but unfortunately, some family felt it was best to sell. This caused us to lose our home. That was May 4 of this year. I thought the house would sell and the trust dispersed accordingly in a timely manner and we'd be okay and have a place of our own in a few months. Well, that didn’t happen, and here we are still struggling every day to make ends meet. By the grace of God, some family and friends, we have been staying in a hotel and only had to sleep in the car one night. Unfortunately, all the income that comes in goes toward necessities and to keep the roof over our head. And we fall short for that every month. With my son being autistic, I have to do all I can to keep things consistent. Unfortunately, due to our financial situation, my car insurance is behind, car registration is due, and the worst of all, my storage with all our belongings got behind and I have until Nov 18 to come up with $700 to save it. EVERYTHING we were able to take is in that unit. Computers, Michael’s video games, personal paperwork, clothes, you name it, it’s there. Plus, anything and everything I have left of my parents. For someone who is always the one to help others and has always been able to make it on my own, making this page is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. We need help. The funds raised would be used to pay car registration, my car insurance, and SAVE our belongings, with any extra to help with the room rent. I ask if you can help, it would be appreciated.
