Urgent Help for Devonte's Family in Crisis

Hey everyone, my name is Devonte and the purpose of this GoFundMe is to help me and my family secure some type of housing for us.

My family and I fell victims to a rental scam on March 27th, and the perp got away with a little over $2500, which left us with nowhere to go and having to sleep in our car for the past 2 weeks. So far, we haven't gotten any new information besides the fact that his first name is Miguel.

We are currently put up in a room at the Sleep Inn off Diehl Rd in Naperville for a few nights, thanks to a few good people. My wife's mother passed away due to breast cancer, and she was a major help whenever it was needed, but now that's gone.

We can't work, get our kids into school, or anything because of this unfortunate situation. A lot of the places that we've called are at full capacity, and this is our first time experiencing this situation.
