Urgent Help for Deanna and Jeremy's Surgeries

Update: Deanna had surgery a week ago, they removed her back teeth and the tumor and bone they could remove with out puncturing the sinus. She does have bone going up in her sinus but as of now they are not removing that. She’s on a high dose of antibiotics to try and get the infection under control, they are not sure that one dose is going to do it and she may require a pic line. The dead bone was surrounding the cancer and they are hopeful that they got all the cancer with the tumor, good bone was also sent in along with tissue, we are hopeful this will come back negative and she will not have to have chemo. But at this time we are not sure what the next steps will be until we see what her tests results state.

She is also now sick with bronchitis, upper respiratory infection, double ear infection, sinus infection and thrush, all while recovering from a major surgery. Please keep them in your prayers

Update- I have consultation on Monday and then surgery the following Monday. One pathology report states osteosarcoma cancer but the second one stated inconclusive and that they needed a better sample. So now they believe I have a bone infection with cancer, and that the tumor is dead bone containing the cancer which would mean it's localized and protecting me from cancer spreading anywhere. So they will be removing my back teeth and the tumor and treating me with antibiotics which we don't know if that means a hospital stay or not yet because they basically don't know what they have until they get in there. So right now facts are I have the cancer and the bone infection, the tumors outside is dead bone which is causing my body's immune system to be in a constant state of defense which is why I keep getting so sick. As far as how bad the cancer is or is going to be, we won't know until they remove the tumor and can check for sure. But right now we know it hasn't spread and seems to be localized.

Update- I can’t believe I’m even saying these words out loud- I have a rare form of bone cancer, I go in for an updated ct scan on Friday and this will determine how aggressive they need to be with surgery. If the cancer has spread it is likely to be in other parts of my body, and it would also mean that they will have to remove a part of my jaw bone, cheek bone, teeth and whatever else it is attached to. Please keep praying

My name is Deanna. I’m starting this GoFundMe because, well, I don’t usually ask for help but I know we can’t do this without some help.

I’ll start with my husband Jeremy, he was in a car accident 2 months ago that left him unable to work. We finally got his MRI and it came back that he needs surgery. He has torn the area that holds his shoulder joint in place and has split the bicep.

Now on to me, after miscarrying the twins in late January early February and having a mental break down. I was very suicidal and struggling a lot, I’m in intensive therapy and outpatient groups. I was told that I might have a cancerous mass in my sinuses, and a lump in my breast. After going to 5 different doctors and several CT scans and blood tests, it was determined my immune system is always acting as if I have an infection and always fighting, so when I get sick with even the common cold, I get very sick. I was sent to an oral surgeon who discovered I have a tumor in the left side of my face which is connected to the mass they found in my sinuses. I had a biopsy done and it’s being sent to pathology to determine for sure that it is cancer. The surgeon stated that it more than likely is cancer based on the growth and how far it goes to my teeth and my sinuses. Either way, I will have to have surgery anyway to have the tumor removed. This will be a team of at least 3 doctors who will have to remove my teeth, the tumor, and part of my sinuses. I will then need reconstruction of my mouth, gums, cheek, and sinuses.

Jeremy and I talked about it and he’s stated that my surgery is more pressing so he is refusing to have his surgery.

But, because I will not be able to work and haven’t been able to work in months and with him being off for the last 2 months following his car accident, we are getting behind on our bills and have exhausted every resource we have.

The day to day, rent, electric, bills, on top of medical bills and medical expenses we are getting behind and it’s only going to get worse.

I do hate asking for help but I don’t know what else to do. I am very scared, and stressed.
