I’m writing as a very worried mother. About a week ago, my daughter’s shoulder dislocated in a way she had never experienced before, it slipped underneath the joint. Her partner called me to come help when they couldn’t get it back in, and although she was able to force it back, her condition has continued to get worse instead of better.

Now her arm is swollen, extremely painful, and unstable, and she can barely use it. She cannot dress herself, shower on her own, or move safely without help. The pain and exhaustion have been overwhelming.

Her partner has been caring for her 24/7 and missing work to help her, and I help when I’m not working. Because of this injury, she cannot work at all right now, and she does not have health insurance, which makes getting the urgent medical care she needs very difficult.

How the funds will be used

Donations will go toward:

    •    Urgent medical evaluation

    •    X-rays and possible MRI

    •    Follow-up orthopedic care

    •    Medication and medical supplies

    •    Helping offset lost income while she is unable to work
